Anyone else looking for a pittie with a heart of gold and a pawfect sploot?

The unfortunate reality is that there are many dogs abandoned every day. People either don't realize how much work they are, or never really loved them like family members in the first place. That's what happened to Marcia, this adorable princess pittie who was left to fend for herself in a neighbor's yard. Luckily, a family found her and immediately saw her huge heart. They fell in love with her and realized that she was the perfect dog for them. Nicknaming her "Sploot Queen" for her perfectly cute canine sploots, she's now a beloved member of their fuzzy family. You can see how truly happy Marcia is below, and we have to think that a match like this was just meant to be.

We understand that some people have very strong feelings about pit bulls. They have a very bad reputation, but it's not their fault! We want to tell you a hard truth that people don't want to accept: any dog can be dangerously aggressive if not trained properly. Pit bulls have just been used for fighting for so long that people associate them with aggression, and the fact that they are extremely strong for their size just doubles down on that stereotype.
However.
Every pittie we've ever met has been nothing but the cutest, most loving, and snuggliest creature. They are a breed that requires diligent training, but if we're being honest, we feel that most people don't train their dogs enough anyway. Marcia is living proof that not all pitties are monsters, some just want a nice place to nap and some pearls to wear around their necks. They're very good pets, if you train them well and treat them right.

There are no bad dogs, just bad owners. The whole beauty of dogs is that they're trainable, and they will act the way you tell them to. A well-trained dog will, anyway.
